Job summary

Precision Castparts Corp. seeks a machinist for McWilliams Forge with turning experience. You will set up and operate CNC mills and lathes, load programs, install tooling and read blueprints to close tolerances.

Shift: Saturday and Sunday 5pm–5am. Responsibilities include monitoring operations, inspecting parts with calipers and micrometers, maintaining records, and collaborating with engineers to improve processes.

Qualifications

• 3+ years manufacturing experience.
• Able to work to close tolerances from drawings.
• Lean manufacturing or continuous improvement experience.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC mills, lathes, or multi-axis machines.
• Load programs, install tooling, and set work offsets.
• Read and interpret blueprints and work instructions.
• Monitor machine operations and make necessary adjustments.
• Inspect finished parts using calipers, micrometers, gauges.
• Perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Maintain accurate production and inspection records.
• Follow all safety, quality, and company procedures.
• Collaborate with engineers, programmers, and supervisors to improve processes
