Applied Composites is seeking a CNC Machinist for the weekend shift in Indianapolis, IN. The role involves operating a 5-axis CNC machine and running programs to meet tight dimensional tolerances while collaborating with Engineering and Production teams.

Qualifications

• Education: A Secondary Certificate/High School Diploma or equivalent combination of relevant education and work experience that will allow successful performance of job expectations
• Years’ Experience: 2-3 years of relevant work experience

Responsibilities

• Operate a 5-axis CNC machine
• Run CNC programs to produce tools & parts to dimensional/tolerance requirements
• Participate in brainstorming / problem solving with Engineering & Production personnel to solve related problems
• Perform preventative maintenance to equipment
• Recommend new technologies for continuous improvement
• Follow Standard Industrial practices for working with composites & other materials.
• Other responsibilities as assigned
