Job summary

Applied Composites, Inc. is seeking a CNC Machinist to operate CNC machines and use existing programming to produce tools and parts to dimensional requirements.

The ideal candidate will have several years of CNC operating experience, some exposure to CNC programming, and the initiative to work under indirect supervision. The company offers a comprehensive benefits package and a supportive environment within aerospace, defense and space systems markets.

Qualifications

Secondary Certificate or high school diploma or equivalent required.
2–3 years of CNC operating experience preferred.
Some exposure to CNC programming is desirable.

Responsibilities

Operate a 5-axis CNC machine.
Run CNC programs to meet dimensional/tolerance requirements.
Collaborate with Engineering & Production to solve related problems.
Perform preventative maintenance on equipment.
Suggest new technologies for continuous improvement.
Follow practices for composites and other materials.
Other duties as assigned.
