Job summary

APPLIED COMPOSITES INC is seeking a CNC Programmer on 2nd shift to manage and program CNC equipment for prototype and production of composite parts in Indianapolis, IN. The role emphasizes precision, on-time scheduling, and collaboration with engineers and managers.

The ideal candidate has 5-7 years of CNC programming experience, MasterCAM proficiency (3–5 axis), and solid GD&T skills to interpret drawings and determine tooling and speeds/feeds.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent combined with relevant work experience.
• 5-7 years CNC programming experience (lathes, multi-axis horizontal and vertical mills).
• Strong GD&T knowledge to interpret drawings and determine tools, feeds and speeds.

Responsibilities

• Review blueprints or specifications for a job.
• Program 3, 4 and 5 axis milling and 2 axis turning equipment.
• Machine and verify complex composite parts per programs.
