Job summary

Applied Composites is seeking a CNC Machinist for the 2nd shift to operate CNC machines and use existing programming to produce tools and parts to dimensional requirements. The ideal candidate will have several years of CNC operating experience and some exposure to CNC programming, with a self-starter attitude for periods of indirect supervision.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of CNC operating experience.
• Some exposure to CNC programming.

Responsibilities

• Operate a 5-axis CNC machine to produce tools and parts to dimensional tolerances.
• Run CNC programs to meet dimensional/tolerance requirements.
• Assist Engineering & Production with problem solving.
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment.
• Suggest new technologies for continuous improvement.
