Adecco Staffing is hiring a CNC Machinist for a contract-to-hire role in Keene, NH. You will set up and operate CNC diamond turning, grinding, or polishing machines to produce high-precision optical components while following drawings and work instructions.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of production machining experience, comfort with data entry and metrology, and strong English communication. Shifts run on first and second schedules with competitive hourly pay.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of machining experience in a production environment.
• Proficient in setting up and running CNC machines.
• Comfortable using computers for data entry and document review.
• Skilled in using metrology equipment for inspecting precision components.

Job Title: CNC Machinist
Location: Keene, NH

Shifts & Pay:

• 1st Shift: Monday – Thursday, 5:00 AM – 3:30 PM | Pay: $22–$29/hour
• 2nd Shift: Monday – Thursday, 3:30 PM – 2:00 AM | Pay: $24–$32/hour

Job Type: Contract-to-Hire

What You’ll Do:

What We’re Looking For:

• Must be a U.S. Person as defined by 22 CFR 120.15 (U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident)

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Minimum 1 year of machining experience in a production environment

• Proficient in setting up and running CNC machines

• Comfortable using computers for data entry and document review

• Skilled in using metrology equipment for inspecting precision components

• Strong English language skills (reading, writing, and verbal communication)

Physical Requirements & Work Environment:

• Ability to lift or move objects up to 40 lbs

• May involve exposure to chemicals and solvents

• Must wear required PPE, including safety glasses and gloves

• Position requires standing for extended periods and performing repetitive tasks
