Job summary

Fives Machining System Inc - MTSS in the United States is seeking an experienced Field Service Technician to support Northeast customers. You will install, repair, and qualify CNC machine tools while working with Siemens, FANUC, or Mazak controls.

Regular travel to customer sites is required, with weekend home time as schedules permit. The role emphasizes safety, technical training, and hands-on problem solving across mechanical, electrical, and CNC systems.

Qualifications

• Associate degree (A.A.) or equivalent; two to four years of related experience and/or training.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to obtain a passport and credit card as required for business travel.
• Strong mechanical, electrical, and CNC capabilities appropriate for installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and qualifying industrial equipment.

Responsibilities

• Install, demonstrate, qualify, repair, and modify Fives machines and equipment at customer facilities.
• Follow verbal and written technical instructions and interpret drawings and service documentation.
• Operate machines and equipment at customer facilities to demonstrate or qualify equipment.
• Observe customer qualification runs and verify machine accuracy and quality with specifications.
• Train customer personnel on operation, maintenance, and repair, focusing on safety.
