Calqulate Metrics Ltd is seeking a CNC Field Service Technician to travel to customer sites across the region to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain CNC machinery and controls. You will perform preventive maintenance, diagnose issues, and ensure equipment operates at peak performance through precise diagnostics and clear reporting.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of hands-on CNC experience, strong troubleshooting abilities, and the ability to read schematics.

Qualifications

• 3+ years hands-on CNC machinery repair/maintenance.
• Experience with rotating machinery, spindles and precision bearings.
• Ability to read electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic schematics and CNC controls.
• Advanced troubleshooting with high attention to detail and technical accuracy.
• Read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and related software.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel up to 25%.
• Comfortable communicating professionally under pressure with customers and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Travel to customer sites throughout MN, WI, SD, ND and surrounding region to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain CNC machine tools, controls, and related equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance and identify opportunities for performance improvement.
• Diagnose and resolve issues with mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic components.
• Utilize manuals, technical documentation, and vendor support to troubleshoot complex problems.
• Clearly communicate equipment status, repairs, and recommendations to customers.
• Complete and submit service and installation reports accurately.
