Job summary

Calqulate is seeking a CNC Field Service Technician to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain CNC machine tools at customer sites across MN, WI, SD, ND and surrounding region.

You will perform preventive maintenance, interpret electrical/pneumatic/hydraulic schematics, document service reports, and maintain strong relationships with customers while traveling up to 25% with a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Hands-on CNC repair/maintenance experience.
• Ability to read mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic schematics.
• Strong troubleshooting and detail‑oriented technical skills.

Responsibilities

• Travel to customer sites across MN, WI, SD, ND to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain CNC machines.
• Perform preventive maintenance and seek performance improvements.
• Diagnose issues with mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Use manuals and vendor support to troubleshoot complex problems.
• Communicate equipment status and recommendations to customers.
• Complete and submit service and installation reports.
• Maintain professionalism and technical excellence to meet commitments.
• Build and maintain relationships with vendors, suppliers, customers.
• Stay updated on new technologies and product updates.
• Maintain deep knowledge of all equipment lines represented.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
