Job summary

H. T. PROF Group is seeking an experienced CNC Field Service Engineer to install, troubleshoot, and maintain CNC machine tools at customer sites nationwide. The role requires strong electrical and mechanical expertise, advanced diagnostic skills, and a customer-focused mindset.

The successful candidate will travel extensively (100%), provide on-site and remote support, and collaborate with customers, distributors, and internal teams to ensure peak machine performance and project success.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of CNC machine tool maintenance and service experience across electrical and mechanical domains.
• Proven ability to diagnose and troubleshoot complex CNC systems including PLCs and FANUC controls.

Responsibilities

• Install CNC machine tool systems at customer sites, including options and accessories.
• Perform leveling, geometry checks, and final adjustments for peak performance.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and application-related issues.
• Identify root causes and recommend corrective actions including repair or replacement.
• Provide on-site and remote technical support via phone, email, and other channels.
• Support customers, distributors, and internal teams with technical guidance and problem resolution.
• Provide customer training and assist with project coordination as needed.
• Travel extensively (100%) including overnights and weekend travel.
