Job summary

NOV in Conroe, TX is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician focused on electrical systems and CNC machine services. You will diagnose, repair, and maintain electrical equipment, perform preventive maintenance, and support installation and upgrades to improve machine efficiency.

You will work with a maintenance team to minimize downtime, document activities, read schematics, and respond to emergency repairs as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certification in electrical systems is preferred.
• Equipment Maintenance & CNC machine services/Troubleshooting experience required.
• Good understanding of CNC machine controls, electrical and mechanical systems.
• Familiarity with hand, power, and machine tools to perform assignments.
• Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician focused on electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and inspections on electrical systems and equipment.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical malfunctions using specialized tools.
• Repair and replace faulty components including wiring, circuits, switches, and outlets.
• Collaborate with maintenance team to resolve facility-wide issues and improvements.
• Assist in installation and commissioning of new electrical equipment and systems.
• Maintain documentation of maintenance activities and access OEM communications.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance on CNC machines and related systems.
• Respond to emergency maintenance and after-hours repairs as needed.
• Implement upgrades to increase machine efficiency and productivity.
• Maintain inventory of maintenance materials to minimize downtime.
• Conduct regular facility inspections to identify and resolve problems.
• Participate in ongoing training to stay current with industry advancements.
