Job summary

Good Samaritan is seeking a Nursing Assistant (NA) for full-time shifts at the De Smet, SD facility. The NA provides resident-centered care and daily living assistance under the supervision of a registered nurse, including basic nursing tasks, hygiene, meals, and vital signs.

Qualifications

• CNA certification required or in process within four months of start date.
• Minimum 12 hours continuing education annually.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance under RN supervision.
• Assist with bathing, grooming, dressing, and meals to residents.
• Record vital signs and communicate changes to the charge nurse.
• Support infection prevention policies and PPE usage.
