Job summary

The Good Samaritan Society in De Smet, SD is hiring a Nursing Assistant (NA) to provide resident-centered care under RN supervision. You will assist with daily living activities, monitor vital signs, and support mobility and dining experiences for residents in a long-term care setting.

Qualified candidates have a CNA certification (or in training) and a high school diploma or GED. This full-time position offers a comprehensive benefits package, sign-on bonus, and multiple advancement

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred. Minimum age 16.
• CNA certification required within four months or in process of obtaining certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident-centered nursing care under RN supervision.
• Assist with daily living activities and personal care.
• Record vital signs and report changes to the charge nurse.
• Assist residents with transfers, repositioning and mobility.
• Assist with meals and dining to create a positive dining experience.
• Document resident interactions and care outcomes as required.
