Job summary

Good Samaritan is seeking a Nursing Assistant (NA) for De Smet, SD. The NA provides resident-centered care under the supervision of a registered nurse, assisting with daily living activities, vital signs, and basic health care needs.

Responsibilities include patient transfers, documentation, and participation in wellness programs. CNA certification is required or in progress, with potential eligibility for a sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident-centered care including daily living activities under RN supervision.
• Assist with bathing, dressing, toileting, feeding, and vital signs as needed.
• Document resident interactions and report changes to charge nurse.
