Job summary

Good Samaritan is seeking a Nursing Assistant to provide resident-centered care in a long-term care setting in De Smet, SD. You will assist with daily living activities, vital signs, and basic care under RN supervision.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred but not required.
• Minimum age 16; prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care preferred.
• CNA certification with the State Board of Nursing required or in process of obtaining within four months.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance.
• Assist with transferring, repositioning, and walking; perform ROM and range exercises.
• Assist with meals, hydration, and documenting vital signs; provide psychosocial support.
