Job summary

PACS is seeking a licensed Certified Nursing Assistant to provide routine daily nursing care and services to residents in accordance with care plans and supervisor directions. You will identify residents, assist with meals and activities, and ensure accurate documentation of all entries.

You will report changes in residents’ conditions promptly and follow established policies for safety and exposure control.

Qualifications

• Must possess a minimum of a 10th grade education.
• Must be a licensed CNA under state laws.
• CPR may be preferred or required by some facilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide routine daily nursing care and services per resident plans.
• Identify residents before treatments or meals using wristbands or photo IDs.
• Report changes in residents' condition to Nurse Supervisor/Charge Nurse promptly.
• Document entries clearly on flow sheets and charts.
• Follow policies on exposure to blood and body fluids.
• Maintain resident rooms, assist with transfers and daily activities as directed.
