Job summary

PACS seeks a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant to provide daily nursing care per each resident’s assessment and care plan. You will verify patient identity, document accurately, and report changes to nursing leadership, while ensuring a safe, respectful environment for residents.

Responsibilities include assisting with daily activities, recording vital information, and maintaining confidentiality of resident records in accordance with facility policies.

Qualifications

• Must possess, as a minimum, an 10th grade education.
• Must be a licensed Certified Nursing Assistant in accordance with laws of the state.
• CPR preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide routine daily nursing care and services according to resident plan.
• Identify residents before administering treatments and meals.
• Record entries accurately and timely on flow sheets, notes, or charts.
• Report changes in resident condition to Nurse Supervisor/Charge Nurse.
• Ensure resident safety and comfort, greet and escort residents, and maintain a warm environment.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident information and report any disclosures.
