Job summary

PACS is seeking a qualified Certified Nursing Assistant to provide routine daily nursing care to residents in accordance with each resident’s care plan and under supervision. You will identify residents before treatments, assist with meals, document observations, and report changes to the Nurse Supervisor promptly.

Maintain resident comfort and safety, follow policies, protect health information, and participate in routine nursing duties and shift handovers as required.

Qualifications

• Must possess, as a minimum, a 10th grade education.
• Must be a licensed Certified Nursing Assistant in accordance with laws of the state.
• CPR Preferred

Responsibilities

• Identify residents before administering treatments, serving meals, etc.
• Record entries on flow sheets, notes, charts, etc., in an informative, descriptive manner.
• Report changes in the resident’s condition to the Nurse Supervisor/Charge Nurse promptly.
• Maintain confidentiality of all resident care information including protected health information.
