Job summary

Qualifications

• Current Nursing Assistant Certification (CNA) in the state of practice.
• Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers.
• Demonstrated basic computer literacy skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver basic patient care and respond to patient/family requests.
• Report patient care findings and condition changes promptly.
• Monitor patients and assist with telemetry as required.
• Transport medications to the RN on the unit.
• Collaborate with the RN and interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient care.
• May perform Health Unit Coordinator duties (phones, orders, unit records).
• Support plan of care as delegated and ensure a safe environment.
