Qualifications

• Current Nursing Assistant Certification (CNA) in the state of practice.
• Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers.
• Demonstrated basic computer literacy skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• CNA certification must be obtained/renewed within specified timelines at hire.
• Completion of CNA Training Program within past year; transcript required.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize and deliver basic patient care (toileting, bathing, linen changes, hydration).
• Report and record patient care findings promptly.
• Monitor patient condition changes and escalate as needed.
• Perform telemetry duties and collaborate with the RN and care team.
• Transport medications to RN on unit as required.
• Participate in health unit coordination tasks (phones, orders, unit records).
• Implement plan of care as delegated and stay within scope of practice.
• Perform specialized procedures with appropriate validation and regulatory standards.
• Maintain a safe environment per safety policy and emergency response.
