Job summary

PACS hires Certified Nursing Assistants to provide routine daily nursing care aligned with each resident’s care plan. You will identify residents, record observations, and support meals and daily activities while maintaining a safe, respectful environment.

The role requires reading, writing, and numeric skills, with emphasis on accurate reporting, confidentiality, and teamwork within the nursing staff. CPR is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
• Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers and employees.
• Mathematical skills include fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions.

Responsibilities

• Identify residents before administering treatments or serving meals and follow protocol.
• Report changes in resident condition to Nurse Supervisor/Charge Nurse promptly.
• Maintain resident confidentiality and report any disclosures per policy.
• Assist residents with daily functions and ensure a safe, clean environment.
• Follow established policies and participate in nursing shift reporting.
