Job summary

PACS is recruiting a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide routine nursing care and services per each resident’s care plan. You will identify residents, assist with daily tasks, and report changes to the Nurse Supervisor. Maintain confidentiality and ensure safe transfers and care.

The role emphasizes compassionate, resident-centered support, adherence to policies, and teamwork with nursing staff to maintain quality care in a post-acute setting.

Qualifications

• Must possess a licensed CNA in accordance with state laws.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business materials.

Responsibilities

• Provide routine daily nursing care and services per resident plans.
• Identify residents before treatments or meals using wristbands or photo IDs.
• Report changes in residents’ condition to the Nurse Supervisor/Charge Nurse.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident information and report incidents.
• Assist residents with daily functions and mobility as trained.
• Prepare residents for medical tests and help with transfers and discharge.
