Job summary

PACS is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide routine daily nursing care to residents in accordance with care plans and supervisor directions.

You will identify residents before care activities, assist with meals and daily tasks, and document observations for the nursing team. The role requires reading and writing skills, plus a CNA license and at least a 10th grade education.

Qualifications

• Must hold a CNA license as required by state law.
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret general documents.
• Ability to write reports and business correspondence.
• Ability to present information and respond to questions from managers and employees.
• Mathematical skills and logical reasoning are needed for measurements and medication routines.

Responsibilities

• Identify residents using wristband/photo card before care activities.
• Record entries clearly and accurately on flow sheets and charts.
• Report changes in residents' condition to Nurse Supervisor/Charge Nurse promptly.
• Assist residents with daily activities, meals, and personal care.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident information and report any disclosures as required.
