Job summary

HomeWell Care Services is seeking CNAs and HHAs for weekend 12-hour shifts across Volusia, Flagler, and St. Johns counties. The role requires compassionate engagement with clients, experience with dementia and ADL/IADL support, and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities include direct patient care under supervision, assisting with daily living activities, vital signs, mobility transfers, meal prep, companionship, and light housekeeping. Valid CNA/HHA certification or training is required.

Qualifications

• Experience with dementia and ADL/IADL support.
• Experience with wound care and catheter care.
• Ability to lift and transfer patients safely.
• 2 years minimum caregiving experience preferred.
• Valid CNA/HHA certification or recognized training completion.
• Excellent communication and compassionate care.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under supervision of a registered nurse or healthcare professional.
• Assist patients with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
• Assist with mobility and transfers, using proper lifting techniques.
• Prepare and serve meals according to dietary restrictions and preferences.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to patients.
• Assist with light housekeeping tasks, such as laundry and tidying up.

• Experience with limited non weight bearing patients.

• Experience working with patients that has wound management

• Experience working with Super pubic catheters

• Experience with lift to pivot stands and transfers are needed

• RELIABLE and DEPENDABILITY IS A MUST!!!

• 2 YEARS MIN EXP WITH AS A CAREGIVER (preferred)

• Ability to lift and transfer patients safely and comfortably.

• Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.

• Compassionate and caring attitude towards patients in need of assistance.

• Ability to work independently and follow instructions accurately.

• Reliable Transportation
