Job summary

HomeWell Care Services in Daytona Beach is seeking caring CNAs and HHAs for full-time, part-time, and PRN positions. You will provide direct patient care under supervision, assist with ADLs, monitor vitals, help with mobility, and offer companionship.

Qualifications

• CNA or HHA certification required or completion of a recognized training program.
• Experience in patient care preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and basic healthcare practices.
• Ability to lift and transfer patients safely and comfortably.
• Reliable transportation and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under supervision of a registered nurse or healthcare professional.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting).
• Monitor and record vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, pulse).
• Assist with mobility and transfers using proper lifting techniques.
• Prepare and serve meals according to dietary restrictions and preferences.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to patients.
• Assist with light housekeeping tasks (laundry, tidying).

• Experience with Dementia
• Experience with ADL's and IADL's
• Experience with limited non weight bearing patients.
• Experience working with patients that has wound management
• Experience working with Super pubic catheters
• Experience with lift to pivot stands and transfers are needed
• RELIABLE and DEPENDABILITY IS A MUST!!!
• 2 YEARS MIN EXP WITH AS A CAREGIVER (preferred)
