Job summary

HomeWell Care Services is seeking compassionate CNAs and HHAs for full-time, part-time, and PRN positions across Volusia, Flagler, and St. Johns counties. Excellent patient interaction, reliability, and ability to engage with clients are essential.

Responsibilities include direct patient care under supervision, assisting with ADLs, monitoring vital signs, mobility and transfers, meal preparation, companionship, and light housekeeping. Valid CNA/HHA certification and 2+ years preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience with dementia and cognitive impairment.
• Experience with ADLs and IADLs.
• Knowledge of basic healthcare practices and medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under supervision of a registered nurse or healthcare professional.
• Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting).
• Monitor and record vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, pulse).
• Assist with mobility and transfers using proper lifting techniques.
• Prepare and serve meals per dietary restrictions and preferences.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to patients.
• Perform light housekeeping tasks (laundry, tidying).

• Experience with Dementia
• Experience with ADL's and IADL's
• Experience with limited non weight bearing patients.
• Experience working with patients that has wound management
• Experience working with Super pubic catheters
• Experience with lift to pivot stands and transfers are needed
• RELIABLE and DEPENDABILITY IS A MUST!!!
• 2 YEARS MIN EXP WITH AS A CAREGIVER (preferred)

• Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
• Compassionate and caring attitude towards patients in need of assistance.
• Ability to work independently and follow instructions accurately.
