Job summary

HomeWell Care Services in Florida is seeking CNAs and HHAs for full-time, part-time, and PRN hours to care for clients in Volusia, Flagler and St. Johns counties. The role requires engagement with clients, compassion, and reliability.

Responsibilities include direct patient care, assisting with ADLs, monitoring vital signs, mobility and transfers, meal preparation, companionship, and light housekeeping. Certification as CNA or HHA is required or completed training program.

Qualifications

• Must hold valid CNA or HHA certification or have completed a recognized training program.
• Experience with dementia and ADLs/IADLs preferred.
• Ability to lift and transfer patients safely and comfortably.
• Reliable transportation and dependable attitude.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under supervision of a nurse or healthcare professional.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting).
• Monitor and record vital signs (blood pressure, temp, pulse).
• Assist with mobility and transfers using proper lifting techniques.
• Prepare and serve meals according to dietary restrictions and preferences.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to patients.
• Assist with light housekeeping tasks such as laundry and tidying.

• Experience with limited non weight bearing patients.
• Experience working with patients that has wound management
• Experience working with Super pubic catheters
• Experience with lift to pivot stands and transfers are needed
• RELIABLE and DEPENDABILITY IS A MUST!!!
• 2 YEARS MIN EXP WITH AS A CAREGIVER (preferred)

• Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
• Compassionate and caring attitude towards patients in need of assistance.
• Ability to work independently and follow instructions accurately.
