Job summary

HomeWell Care Services, Inc. is seeking compassionate CNAs and HHAs for full-time, part-time and PRN roles across Volusia, Flagler and St. Johns counties in Florida.

The ideal candidate engages well with clients, has dementia and ADL/IADL experience, and can safely lift and transfer patients. Responsibilities include direct patient care under supervision, assistance with daily living activities, vital signs, mobility, meals, companionship, and light housekeeping.

Qualifications

• Valid CNA or HHA certification or completion of a recognized training program.
• Experience in providing patient care preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and basic healthcare practices.
• Ability to lift and transfer patients safely and comfortably.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
• Compassionate and caring attitude towards patients in need of assistance.
• Ability to work independently and follow instructions accurately.
• Reliable Transportation

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse or healthcare professional.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
• Assist with mobility and transfers, using proper lifting techniques.
• Prepare and serve meals according to dietary restrictions and individual preferences.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to patients
• Assist with light housekeeping tasks, such as laundry and tidying up.

• Experience with Dementia




• Experience with ADL's and IADL's




• Experience with limited non weight bearing patients.




• Experience working with patients that has wound management




• Experience working with Super pubic catheters




• Experience with lift to pivot stands and transfers are needed




• RELIABLE and DEPENDABILITY IS A MUST!!!




• 2 YEARS MIN EXP WITH AS A CAREGIVER (preferred)
