Job summary

HomeWell Care Services is seeking caring CNAs and HHAs for full-time, part-time, and PRN hours to support clients across Volusia, Flagler, and St. Johns counties in Florida.

Ideal candidates will have CNA or HHA certification and experience with dementia, ADLs/IADLs, wound care, catheter care, and safe patient transfers. Responsibilities include direct patient care under supervision, assisting with daily living activities, vital sign checks, meals, companionship, and light housekeeping.

Qualifications

• Valid CNA or Home Health Aide certification or completion of a recognized training program.
• Experience in providing patient care preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and basic healthcare practices.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under supervision of a registered nurse or healthcare professional.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting).
• Monitor and record vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, pulse).
• Assist with mobility and transfers using proper lifting techniques.
• Prepare and serve meals according to dietary restrictions and preferences.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to patients.
• Assist with light housekeeping tasks such as laundry and tidying up.

• Experience with Dementia

• Experience with limited non weight bearing patients.
• Experience working with patients that has wound management
• Experience working with Super pubic catheters
• Experience with lift to pivot stands and transfers are needed
• RELIABLE and DEPENDABILITY IS A MUST!!!
• 2 YEARS MIN EXP WITH AS A CAREGIVER (preferred)
