Job summary

HomeWell Care Services in Florida is seeking CNAs and HHAs for full-time, part-time, and PRN roles across Volusia, Flagler and St. Johns counties.

You will provide direct patient care, assist with daily living activities, monitor vital signs, aid mobility, prepare meals, offer companionship, and handle light housekeeping. We value reliable, caring professionals with experience in dementia and wound management, strong communication, and the ability to work independently with proper lifting

Qualifications

• Valid CNA or HHA certification required.
• Experience with dementia and ADL/IADL care preferred.
• Ability to lift and transfer patients safely.
• Reliable transportation and dependable work ethic.
• 2+ years caregiver experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under supervision of a nurse or healthcare professional.
• Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
• Assist with mobility and transfers using proper lifting techniques.
• Prepare and serve meals according to dietary restrictions and preferences.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to patients.
• Assist with light housekeeping tasks such as laundry and tidying up.

• Experience with Dementia
• Experience with ADL's and IADL's
• Experience with limited non weight bearing patients.
• Experience working with patients that has wound management
• Experience working with Super pubic catheters
• Experience with lift to pivot stands and transfers are needed
• RELIABLE and DEPENDABILITY IS A MUST!!!
• 2 YEARS MIN EXP WITH AS A CAREGIVER (preferred)

• Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
• Compassionate and caring attitude towards patients in need of assistance.
• Ability to work independently and follow instructions accurately.
