Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Engage students to obtain/learn skills and knowledge to complete the CNA program and prepare for the CNA exam.
• Supervise and observe students at designated clinical site(s).
• Focus on student instruction.
• Assist students through observational and participative experiences to apply nursing theory, the nursing process and nursing techniques in the clinical setting.
• Collaborate with students and staff within the school district and at clinical sites.
• Maintain working knowledge of student attendance and accountability requirements.
• Communicate appropriate information clearly and in a timely manner.

POSITION GOAL:

To supervise,observeandassiststudents enrolled in the Ada Professional Technical Center Certified Nursing Assistant Program. Provide clinical site supervision of nursing activities performed by studentsin accordance withfederal, state, local and healthcare facility standards,guidelinesand regulations.

LICENSES AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

• LPN or RNLicense;
