Job summary

Action Health Staffing & Home Care Services seeks a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide home care in the Williamston area. The schedule is Mon/Wed/Fri 9:00 am–12:30 pm and Tue/Thu 11:00 am–3:00 pm.

The aide delivers direct patient care, assists with hygiene, transfers, meals, and companionship, and performs light housekeeping. EVV timekeeping is used for task documentation; strict confidentiality is required.

Qualifications

• Provide direct patient care in home settings and follow care plans.
• Ability to read, write, and follow directions for documentation.
• Lift up to 50 lbs as required by patient care tasks.
• Maintain DFS certification and adhere to patient privacy rules.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care as assigned in the home care setting.
• Assist with personal hygiene, transfers, and ambulation.
• Prepare meals considering client preferences and diet, when directed.
• Offer companionship and engage in activities tailored to the client.
• Perform light housekeeping and maintain clean living areas.
• Record and report changes in the client’s condition per plan.
• Complete EVV tasks and time sheets as required.
• Uphold patient confidentiality and the patients' rights.
