Job summary

Action Health Staffing & Home Care Services is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to deliver in-home care in the Williamston area. Shifts run Monday-Wednesday-Friday 9am-12:30am and Tuesday-Thursday 11am-3pm, with excellent pay.

The home care aide will perform direct patient care, assist with personal hygiene, transfers, and basic nursing tasks, while preparing meals, offering companionship, and supporting documentation within the Plan of Care.

Qualifications

• Demonstrates effective communication and reading/writing skills.
• Ability to understand and follow care plans and instructions.
• Demonstrates empathy and strong patient-care attitude.
• Works well in a team and with family members.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care as assigned in home settings.
• Assist with personal hygiene and daily living activities.
• Assist with transfers, repositioning, and ambulation.
• Provide basic nursing tasks as directed by supervising clinicians.
• Prepare meals considering client preferences and diets.
• Offer companionship and plan activities for the client.
• Perform light housekeeping and maintain records per agency policy.
• Complete EVV tasks and time sheets as required.
• Report changes in client condition promptly.
