Job summary

Action Health Staffing seeks a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to provide in-home care in the Wilson area. You will assist with daily living activities, hygiene, and basic nursing tasks under supervision.

The schedule includes Monday to Wednesday 12noon–5pm and Friday 1pm–4pm, with a focus on reliable attendance and patient comfort. Candidates must maintain DFS certification and communicate clearly.

Qualifications

• Maintain DFS certification is required.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Excellent communication skills including reading, writing, and following directions.
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending and standing.
• Empathetic, patient-centered caregiver.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care as assigned in the home.
• Assist with personal hygiene and daily living activities.
• Assist with transfers, repositioning, and ambulation.
• Provide basic nursing care under supervision of a RN/therapist.
• Prepare meals considering client preferences and diets.
• Provide companionship and activities tailored to the client.
• Light housekeeping as needed.
• Maintain records per agency procedures.
• Report changes in client condition promptly.
• Follow Plan of Care and EVV time entries as required.
• Support client independence within abilities.
