Job summary

Action Health Staffing is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant for in-home care in the Wilson area. Schedule includes Monday-Wednesday 12:00–17:00 and Friday 13:00–16:00 with excellent pay. You will assist with daily living activities, hygiene, transfers, and provide compassionate in-home care to clients.

The role emphasizes safe patient handling, documentation, and collaboration with supervising clinicians. Experience in home care and DFS certification are preferred.

Qualifications

• Effective communication and ability to read, write and follow directions.
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting and transferring.
• Sympathetic attitude toward the care of the sick.
• Maintain certification with DFS.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care as assigned in the client7s home.
• Assist with personal hygiene and daily living activities.
• Support transfers, repositioning and ambulation.
• Provide basic nursing care as instructed by the supervising RN or therapists.
• Prepare meals considering client preferences and special diets.
• Provide companionship and light housekeeping as needed.
• Maintain accurate health records and EVV compliance when applicable.
• Report changes in client condition promptly.
