Job summary

Action Health Staffing is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to work in the Wilson area. This home care position offers weekday hours: Monday-Wednesday 12:00 noon–5:00 PM and Friday 1:00 PM–4:00 PM, with excellent pay.

You will provide direct patient care in patients’ homes, assist with hygiene, transfers, daily living tasks, and coordinate with supervising clinicians. DFS certification and compassionate, reliable care are required.

Qualifications

• Must maintain DFS certification.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Excellent reading, writing, and following directions required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care as assigned.
• Assist with personal hygiene and daily living activities.
• Assist with transfers, repositioning, and ambulation.
• Provide basic nursing care under supervision of RN/therapists.
• Prepare meals considering dietary needs and preferences.
• Record and report changes in client condition and care needs.
• Complete tasks according to the EVV plan and time sheets.
• Maintain accurate records and communicate with the care team.
