Job summary

Action Health Staffing is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant for home care in the Wilson area. The schedule includes Monday–Wednesday 12:00 noon–5:00 PM and Friday 1:00 PM–4:00 PM, with excellent pay.

You will provide direct patient care in clients' homes, assist with daily living activities, and support family members with care plans under nurse supervision. Responsibilities include maintaining records, reporting changes in client condition, and adhering to plans of care.

Qualifications

• Effective communication skills for reading, writing, and following directions.
• Ability to provide direct patient care and personal hygiene support.
• Ability to assist with transfers, repositioning, and ambulation.
• Ability to perform basic nursing tasks as directed by supervisor.
• Sympathetic, patient-centered approach to care.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care as assigned at the patient’s residence.
• Assist with personal hygiene, bathing, grooming, and daily living activities.
• Assist with transfers and safe mobility for clients.
• Provide basic nursing care under supervision of RN/PT/OT or SLP.
• Assist with meals according to client preference and diet.
• Provide companionship and engage in activities planned with client.
