Job summary

Midwest Health, Inc. in Shawnee, KS seeks a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide direct and indirect resident care under a licensed nurse. You will follow facility policies, protect resident confidentiality, and support daily activities. Strong teamwork and communication are essential.

You will assist with ADLs, mobility, meals, and documentation, with the ability to work varied shifts including weekends and holidays as needed.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid CNA certification in good standing with the State.
• Must have basic computer skills.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Must be able to work beyond normal hours including weekends/holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect resident care under the supervision of a licensed nurse.
• Follow policies and procedures of the Community and nursing department.
• Report abuse/neglect immediately to supervisor.
• Maintain resident confidentiality and dignity.
• Assist with activities of daily living and mobility as needed.
• Prepare residents for meals, assist with feeding, and serve trays.
