Job summary

Midwest-Health is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide direct and indirect resident care under the supervision of a licensed nurse in a Kansas facility.

You will perform a wide range of duties including daily living activities, monitoring residents’ condition, assisting with mobility, and documenting care while following state regulations and community policies. This position requires compassion, reliability, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid CNA certification in good standing with the State.
• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
• Must have basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Comply with Community policies and procedures.
• Report any abuse/neglect to supervisor. Treat residents and staff with dignity and respect.
• Assist residents with daily living activities (bathing, grooming, feeding).
• Assist in admission and discharge of residents and in transporting them to activities or appointments.
• Document care provided and report changes in residents’ condition.
