Job summary

Midwest Health, Inc. seeks a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide direct and indirect resident care under the supervision of a licensed nurse.

You will perform routine tasks and document care according to policy, ensuring resident comfort and safety. Responsibilities include adhering to safety and privacy standards, supporting admissions and discharges, assisting with activities of daily living, and reporting any concerns promptly to the nursing leadership.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
• Must have valid CNA certification in good standing with the State.
• Must have basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Comply with Community policies and procedures.
• Comply with nursing department policies and procedures.
• Report allegations of resident abuse/neglect promptly to the supervisor.
• Maintain confidentiality of residents and families.
• Assist in admission and discharge of residents.
• Assist residents with daily oral care, bathing, grooming and hygiene.
• Assist with feeding, meal setup and tray removal.
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and positioning.
• Complete required documentation of care and services as provided.
