Job summary

Midwest Health, Inc. is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide direct and indirect resident care under the supervision of a licensed nurse. The role requires adherence to facility policies and the ability to treat residents and colleagues with dignity and respect.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid CNA certification that is in good standing with the State.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
• Must be able to work beyond normal working hours and on weekends and holidays when necessary.
• Must have basic computer skills.
• Employee may need to lift and assist residents; may require lifting up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect resident care under the direction of a licensed nurse.
• Comply with facility policies and procedures.
• Report abuse, neglect or violations to the Administrator or supervisor.
• Treat residents and staff with dignity and respect.
