Job summary

Midwest Health, Inc. is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide direct and indirect resident care under the supervision of a licensed nurse at our Kansas facility.

You will follow facility policies, assist with daily living activities, and help maintain residents’ dignity and safety while reporting concerns to supervisors and the charge nurse. The role requires an active CNA certification in good standing, reliable attendance, and the ability to work with elderly and disabled residents

Qualifications

• Must have a valid CNA certification in good standing with the State.
• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
• Ability to work with elderly, disabled, and emotionally upset residents with empathy.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect resident care under the direction of a licensed nurse.
• Adhere to facility policies and procedures and report concerns.
• Assist with activities of daily living and mobility, and monitor residents' status.
