The Nursing Assistant (NA) at Good Samaritan - Woodland provides resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance under the supervision of a registered nurse in a 42-bed long-term care setting in Brainerd, MN. The role includes assisting with activities of daily living, monitoring vital signs, and supporting wellness programs while adhering to infection control policies.

This part-time position offers weekend work with premium pay, a day shift, and bi-weekly pay.

Qualifications

Must be a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in Minnesota.
High school diploma or GED preferred.
Minimum age of 16.
Prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care preferred.
Annual competency testing and continuing education credits required.

Responsibilities

Provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance under RN supervision.
Assist with bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing, transfers and mobility.
Record and monitor vital signs and health information.
Assist with meals, nutrition and dining.
Document resident interactions, care outcomes and changes to care plan.
Communicate changes in resident condition to the charge nurse.
