Good Samaritan in Brainerd, MN is seeking a Nursing Assistant (NA) to provide resident-centered care in a long-term care setting under RN supervision. Tasks include daily living activities, vital signs, and supportive care to residents per care plans.

Qualifications

• GED preferred but not required.
• Minimum age of 16.
• Requires Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification with State Board of Nursing, or must be in process to obtain certification.
• Annual competency testing and continuing education credits required.
• If applicable, may require Unlicensed Assistive Person (UAP) Registry registration.
• May be classified as Sanford Category II Driver with driving policy compliance.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident-centered nursing care under RN supervision.
• Assist with daily living activities (bathing, grooming, dressing, meals).
• Record vital signs and monitor resident condition.
• Assist with transfers, mobility and ROM exercises.
• Document interactions and communicate changes to the charge nurse.
