Job summary

The Nursing Assistant (NA) at Good Samaritan – Woodland in Brainerd, MN provides resident-centered care during the night shift, assisting with daily living activities, vital signs, and mobility under RN supervision. This role supports dining, hygiene, and comfort while maintaining infection prevention practices.

Part-time schedule includes 16 hours per week with every other weekend and rotating holidays, night hours 10:00pm–6:30am, and shift incentives.

Qualifications

• Must have Minnesota CNA certification or be enrolled to obtain it within four months.
• Experience in long-term care or clinical settings is preferred.
• Must maintain annual continuing education requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance.
• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility under RN supervision.
• Document vital signs and care provided, following care plans.
• Support dining, housekeeping, and activity participation as needed.
