Job summary

Good Samaritan Woodland in Brainerd, MN is seeking a part-time Nursing Assistant to provide resident-centered care in a 42-bed facility. Responsibilities include daily living support, vital signs, and assistance with meals, under RN supervision.

Qualifications include a MN CNA certification or enrollment to obtain within 4 months, with GED or high school diploma preferred. Weekend rotations and driving considerations may apply; a weekend incentive is offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred but not required.
• Minimum age 16.
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification with the State Board of Nursing, or enrolled to obtain within four months.
• Annual 12 hours of continuing education and department competency testing.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance under RN supervision.
• Assist with bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing, and mobility.
• Record vital signs and document resident care and responses.
• Assist with meals and snacks and maintain a positive dining experience.
• Support wellness and recreational activities and assist with transfers and mobility as needed.
