Job summary

The Nursing Assistant (NA) at Good Samaritan Society provides caregiver support in long-term care, delivering resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance under an RN. You will help with basic health tasks, vital signs, and personal care while following care plans and infection prevention policies.

Hours are day shifts, full-time; eligible staff may receive a $10,000 sign-on bonus and comprehensive benefits, including 401(k) matching and PTO accrual from day one.

Qualifications

• CNA certification required or in process within four months of date into position.
• Minimum age of 16; prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care preferred.
• Annual competency testing and minimum 12 hours continuing education required.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance under RN supervision.
• Assist with bathing, grooming, feeding, vital signs, and mobility.
• Document resident interactions and communicate changes to charge nurse.
• Support wellness programs and participate in department tasks as needed.
