Job summary

The Nursing Assistant (NA) at Good Samaritan Society provides resident-centered care in a long-term care setting, assisting with daily living activities, hygiene, meals, and vital sign checks under the supervision of a registered nurse. You will help with transfers, range of motion, mobility, and documenting interactions to support care plans and infection control policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred (not required).
• Minimum age 16.
• Prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care preferred.
• CNA certification with State Board or in process of obtaining certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance.
• Assist with bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing, and mobility.
• Record vital signs and medical information, communicate changes to RN.
• Assist with meals, hydration, and range of motion exercises.
• Document resident interactions and participate in care planning and infection control.
