Job summary

The Nursing Assistant (NA) at Good Samaritan provides resident-centered care in a long-term care setting under the supervision of an RN. You will assist with daily living activities, vital signs, and basic health care needs while adhering to infection prevention policies and safety protocols.

You will also help with meals, documentation, and participate in wellness activities. This full-time role includes benefits and a $10,000 sign-on bonus where eligible.

Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required or in process within four months.
• Minimum age 16; prior clinical experience in long-term care preferred.
• Satisfactory completion of annual competency testing and continuing education credits.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance.
• Assist with transfers, range of motion and mobility activities.
• Assist with meals, nutrition, hydration, and dining experiences.
• Document interactions and communicate changes to the charge nurse.
