Job summary

The Nursing Assistant (NA) at Good Samaritan Society provides resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance in a long-term care setting under the supervision of a registered nurse. You will support residents with bathing, transfers, meals, and daily activities while following care plans and infection-control policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED (preferred).
• Minimum age 16 with long-term care experience preferred.
• CNA certification required or in process within four months of hire, via state board.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance.
• Assist with transfers, range of motion, and mobility.
• Record vital signs and communicate changes to the RN.
• Assist with meals, hydration, and psychosocial support.
• Maintain infection control practices and use PPE.
